This is close out weekend because it is the last weekend of this month. That means last chance at redemption and racing before the new month.
Saturday agenda-race!
I found about about a trail 5k at amelia but that didn't matter. I returned to eagle lakes for part 2 of the elite series. I return as 2 time defending champ. Even though so far my title seems lost, due to better competition and poorer personal performance, I am still proud of my accomplishments and will not shirk running. I think I'll give the clint eastwood synopsis of the race:
The good: 2nd age (podium), improved time from last, ankle felt fine.
The bad: 2nd age (trail same guy again), worst overall position
The ugly: 2nd age (trail in series, possibly out), still not under 19
